Data we collect
We may collect name, email, purchase information, course progress stored on the device and language preferences. Stripe processes payments; we do not store full card details.
How we use it
We use this information to provide course access, support, lesson organisation, security and legal compliance. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion under LGPD and GDPR by emailing alexandremrb@gmail.com.
Demographic data and free access
The English and German courses are free for Black women and women from the periphery. To check who qualifies we ask you to declare gender, race, territory, age range, education, country and city, and how you found DQPM. Race and territory are sensitive personal data (LGPD art. 5 II; GDPR art. 9) and are therefore processed only with your specific consent.
Self-declared, never verified
Every answer is self-declared. We do not ask for, require or check any document, and each field offers a “prefer not to say” option. Demanding proof of skin colour or address would turn a reparative policy into one more barrier.
Two separate consents
These are two independent permissions. The first allows the data to be used to check your eligibility for free access. The second is optional, never pre-ticked, and allows contact about campaigns and social projects. Refusing the second changes nothing about your access.
How to withdraw consent
In your dashboard you withdraw either permission with one click — withdrawing is as easy as agreeing. Withdrawing the first erases gender, race, territory, age range and education from your profile. To delete your whole account, write to alexandremrb@gmail.com.
Voice recordings and use of artificial intelligence
Some activities let you record your voice. Recording only starts after you click and requires a specific consent, separate from the others. For the automatic pronunciation score, the audio is transcribed by an AI service (OpenAI) and then discarded: neither the audio nor the transcript is stored. For human-correction tasks, the audio is kept in a private area, accessible only to you and to the teacher linked to your account, until you ask for deletion. Text sent to the automatic tutor also goes through that service and is not used to train models. You can withdraw voice consent from your dashboard at any time; recordings already sent for correction are deleted on request.
Who sees your learning data
Your progress, your productions and the corrections are seen by you and by the teacher linked to your account, for the purpose of guiding your learning. Platform administration accesses this data only for support, billing and security, and every administrative access is logged. Self-declared demographic data is never shown to the teacher.
Retention and deletion
We keep account data for as long as the account exists. Payment records are kept for the period required by tax law. You can request an export or the deletion of your data through the support e-mail; deletion is completed within 30 days unless a legal retention duty applies.
