German
3 to 12 quick questions. Each one depends on the last: the test stops on its own once it finds where you get stuck — and points you to the right course.
Adaptive test
Where do you think you start?
Each question depends on the last: the test goes up when you get it right, down when you miss, and stops when it finds your level. Between 3 and 12 questions.
How the German level test works
The test is adaptive: it starts at A1 and moves up while you get answers right. When you get stuck, it stops — so it takes 3 to 12 questions and 2 to 5 minutes.
Levels follow the Common European Framework of Reference (A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1), the scale used by schools and official exams. The test measures grammar and vocabulary; it isn't a certificate, it's a map of where to start.
