How the course works

• Each lesson starts with a short scene: a real situation in São Paulo Portuguese, with a summary in English.
• The explanation is in English and shows the secret: the B2 mistakes English speakers make in Portuguese (every subjunctive tense, ‘if we had’, the personal infinitive, the two passives, formal pronoun placement, reported speech, connectors, new false friends and São Paulo idioms) and how to avoid them.
• Each module closes with a checkpoint. Then you practise, write, record your voice and take it out into the world. Pick your rhythm: De boa (light), No corre (standard) or Modo Nerdrake (deep).
