How the course works

• Each lesson starts with a short scene: a real situation in São Paulo Portuguese, with a summary in English.
• The explanation is in English and shows the secret: the B1 mistakes English speakers make in Portuguese (the subjunctive after ‘que’, ‘talvez’ and ‘quando’, ‘if I were’, ‘although’, ‘told me to’, formal pronouns, new false friends) and how to avoid them.
• Each module closes with a checkpoint. Then you practise, write, record your voice and take it out into the world. Pick your rhythm: De boa (light), No corre (standard) or Modo Nerdrake (deep).
